About Us

Founded in 1998, Brandon Products utilises naturally and locally sourced marine ingredients to create an extensive range of products for use in both personal BODY CARE and PLANT CARE applications.

The Company was established as a direct result of research and development carried out over a 20 year period at the Institute of Technology Tralee, into the benefits and applications of marine raw materials.

Today Brandon Products operates from a modern production facility located just outside Tralee, County Kerry. Tralee is uniquely situated on the South West Coast of Ireland beside vast seaweed beds, the raw material for Brandon Products.

Uncompromised PURITY
The County of Kerry is known as the Kingdom of Ireland and is renowned throughout the world for its unspoilt natural beauty and majestic coastlines. The lack of any heavy manufacturing industry helps to maintain a pristine environment and, when combined with unique water conditions created by the gulf stream, creates the ideal conditions in which over 500 different seaweed species grow and flourish.

Brandon Products team daily hand harvest all its seaplants in the age old traditional manner, a practice first recorded in the 12th Century in Ireland. Unlike some other countries, Irish seaweed grows undisturbed, at its own pace, thereby ensuring that the complete range of NUTRIENTS and TRACE ELEMENTS are present in the balanced way nature always intended.

Environmentally friendly seaweed is a natural renewable resource and the hand harvesting technique practised by Brandon Products is beneficial to the environment.

Brandon Products continues to work in close co operation with the Institute of Technology in Tralee. Technical expertise for the company is provided by a highly qualifed team that includes chemistry, botany and marine science graduates.
