Extract of Ascophyllum nodosum a natural biostimulant

The seaweed Ascophyllum nodosum is a brown seaweed, rich in trace elements, amino acids and naturally occurring growth promoters. This seaweed has been used by coastal communities for thousands of years to build rich soil and promote healthy crops.

The traditional problem of hauling the seaweed to more inland locations was solved in the 1950's by the advent of a process that extracted the value of the seaweeds into a more usable format. Since that time the process has evolved ensuring that more and more of the nutrient value of the seaweed is extracted intact so as to maximise its benefits. During this time research has shown the extract to enhance crop yields, quality, shelf life and vigor.

Brandon Products Ltd offers a quality extract that is available in a number of concentrations - up to 30% in liquid format and 95% in dehydrated powder.
